Dahi Kadhi (A Tangy Yoghurt and Gram Flour based Curry)





This is one of the most easiest, light and fast to cook Gujarati recipe. 





While preparing this curry, never boil on very high flame as it curdle the curd, and other most important thing is whisk curd and gram flour properly, and make this mixture a very smooth consistency.

Required:
✔1½ cup Curd (preferably tangy/sour curd, but it should be medium tangy, not very sour)
✔2 tbsp BesanBesan
(Gram Flour)
✔5-6 Curry leaves
✔2 Green chilly 
(finely chopped)
✔1tsp Mustard seeds
✔4-5 tsp Sugar
Dry spices
1tsp Red chilly powder
1tsp Turmeric Powder
 Asafoetida(hing) pinch
 Salt to taste


1 tsp Cooking oil





Action
◾Put all the things that is curd, gram flour, salt, sugar, red chilly powder, turmeric powder in blender jar with one glass of water 
◾Mix them all and make this to smooth consistency. 








◾Heat the oil and add mustard seeds, when the mustard seeds crackle, add curry leaves, asafoetida powder and stir for 10-15 seconds.





◾Now pour the above blended mixture and cook on medium flame for 4-5 minutes.









◾After one boil, check the salt and consistency, if it is very thick then add little more water.





◾Cook on slow flame for 2-3 minutes, Serve hot garnished with coriander.
