Jeera Aloo Tamatar (Cumin Potatoes in Tomatoes Curry)

Jeera Aloo Tamatar is very simple, yet irresistible, yummy and filing recipe of potatoes which are spiced with cumin seeds and prepared in tomato puree.

Whenever I make this recipe, it always reminds me,  my visit to Tirumala (Tirupati) and our stay in Gujarati Hermitage where pure Satvik Food was served. Simple Veg Food with minimum ingredients, no onion, no garlic but tasted awesome.

This recipe of jeera aloo tamatar works best, when you have nothing in fridge to prepare and not able to figure out as what to cook, or on those days when you avoid eating onion and garlic, or any unexpected guests visit in your house, who don't eat onion garlic. Try this with puri and dahi raita..

What is required:
✔3-4 medium Potatoes - Peel and diced

✔2 Tomatoes ( Purée)

✔2tsp Cumin seeds
