✒ Ingredients required for Fat free Tomato soup
- 6 Juicy and Ripe Tomatoes
- 1 Onion - chopped
- 4-5 Garlic cloves - chopped
- 4 cloves
- 10-12 black peppercorns
- 1tsp cinnamon powder
- 2tsp sugar
- Salt to taste.
✒ Step by step method of fat free tomato soup recipe:
✏ Step 1: Chop Vegetables
◾Peel the onions and garlic and roughly chop them into square cubes
◾Wash and roughly chop tomatoes.
◾Combine all the ingredients in a pressure cooker, i.e. tomatoes, onions, garlic, black peppercorns, cloves, cinnamon powder, sugar and salt to taste.
◾Add 3 cups water (about 700-800 ml).
◾Allow 3 whistles, and then simmer for a minute. Switch off the gas stove, cool down.
✏ Step 3: Blending
◾Transfer the mixture into a blender jar, blend to a smooth consistency.
✏ Step 4: Strain
◾Strain the soup through a soup strainer.
✏ Step 5: Boil and adjust the seasoning
◾Adjust the seasoning, Heat it up, let the soup come to a boil, lower the heat, simmer for 2-3 minutes, switch off the gas stove. Serve hot with bread croutons or cheese bread roll ups.
1. When blending, be sure to mix in small batches and the mixture should not be very hot. As in case of hot mixture steam can build up when you start blending work, and if the lid is not properly fitted or blender is overfilled it will spray hot soup all over you and kitchen platform, and will become messy affair.. The best way to follow is cool down and drain out (strain) all liquid from boiled mixture of tomatoes, onion and spices and blend.. Then combine all together, and then strain again...
Recipe of Cheese Bread Roll ups
✏ Ingredients Required
- 4 Bread slices
- 4 Cheese slices
- 2tbsp. Butter
◾With help of rolling pin, roll slices of bread flat. Spread butter, top with cheese slice. Gently rolls from one end and finish by sealing the edges. Brush edges with melted butter.
◾Heat the griddle pan, grease with butter, place the rolls, fry all sides, saute them over medium heat. Make even turn ups, serve hot with tomato soup.
