My today's recipe is for capsicum lovers. In this recipe I am going to sauté capsicum and spice it up with Indian spices.
Capsicum can never be overcooked, but we have habit of cooking food to best possible way as our main focus is good taste, but some food needs to be moderately cooked and capsicum comes under that category.
If you are great fan of capsicum like me, always add capsicum lastly in any food preparation, don't cook it for very long. My capsicum stir fry is coming under fast to cook, good to eat recipe, as it gets cooked very fast. This is side dish and goes very well with dal rice.
For Capsicum Stir Fry, we require following:
✒250 - 300 gms Capsicums cut into cubes
✒2tsp red chilly powder
✒2tsp coriander powder
✒½tsp turmeric powder
✒salt to taste
✒2tsp cooking oil or butter
Step 1: chopping of capsicum
◾ Take capsicum, wash and then slice the top and deseed it, remove white skin inside the pepper, cut them into cubes.
Step 2: Cooking Time
◾Take frying pan add cooking oil or butter, add capsicum, sauté them for 4-6 minutes, first 2 minutes on high flame and then slow flame.
◾Now add dry ingredients mentioned above, mix well, and cook for another minute.
◾switch off gas stove, serve hot will dal rice.
