Oats Corn Soup

How to prepare oats corn soup | Spicy oats corn peas soup | Quaker oats corn soup

Today I'm sharing yet another healthy recipe of oats, peas and corn kernels. Oats Corn Soup is the perfect start for an energetic day. Quaker oats are easy to cook. It contains fiber, which is very good for digestion and healthy lifestyle. It has a very good taste and comes under fast to cook and good to eat recipe.

✏Ingredients required 

  1. 5 tbsp corn kernels
  2. 3 tbsp frozen peas
  3. 2 sachets Quaker oats (Home style masala 28 g)
  4. 10 g butter
  5. 1 tsp red chili flakes
  6. 2 green chilies or as per preference
  7. Salt to taste

✏Step by step process of making oats corn soup

◾Place 4 cups (approximately 600-700ml) water in saucepan and bring to boil. Add butter, salt and corn kernels and allow it to come to a boil again. 

(Add ½ tsp salt as oats masala sachets contains salt in sufficient quantity, plus the butter I have used also contains salt, so please take good care when adding salt in this recipe)

◾Reduce heat, cover and simmer and cook corn kernels for about 5-7 minutes.

◾Add frozen peas, green chilies and Quaker oats. 

◾Bring to boil, cover and simmer until oats are cooked through, and creamy.

◾Season with red chili flakes, serve hot.
